Welcome to the first VietPhil research forum 2019
VietPhil Research Forum will be held annually in either in Vietnam or the Philippines to provide a platform for the sharing of best practices, latest updates and prospects in tertiary education.
The first VietPhil Research Forum 2019 will be held on 5-6 December 2019 at Tra Vinh University, Vietnam with the theme, “Enabling Career Mobility for Students in Global Integration”.
VietPhil Research Forum 2019 will give researchers, educators and teachers from Vietnam, the Philippines and the world the opportunity to share research results, teaching practices and experiences regarding increasing employment chances for students in the world labour market. VietPhil Research Forum will strive hard to make this professional development opportunity accessible to Vietnamese and Filipino teachers of English and teachers from other parts of the world.

The main forum
The 1st VietPhil research forum 2019 will be held on 5-6 December 2019, under the theme ‘Enabling Career Mobility for Students in Global Integration’.
Aims and Objectives of the forum
- The forum aims to publicize research results, exchange and share teaching as well as research experiences in order to constantly increase the quality of education and employability for students in the global integration;
- It’s also to strengthen and fortify collaboration between the three institutions, triggering more specified cooperation activities;
- The first multi-disciplined international forum can attract researchers from Vietnam, the Philippines, and the world.
- All abstracts and papers are blind and peer-reviewed, published in a special issue of TVU scientific journal as forum proceedings.
Format of the Main Forum
The 1st VietPhil research forum 2019 will be held on 5-6 December 2019, under the theme ‘Enabling Career Mobility for Students in Global Integration’. This is a multi-discipline international forum covering a variety of topics so that presenters from different disciplines can share their research results and teaching experiences.
